Temperatures will be in a gradual free-fall Thursday, with a north wind at 10-20 mph continuing to pull in the Canadian air. There will be a few flurries likely, with the potential for heavier snow in Lake of the Woods county. Highs will dance in the low 20s most of the day, with some late clearing possible.

With only a few clouds to blanket the region, Friday morning looks to begin with a bite. Lows in the morning will be in the single digits. Sunshine will try to allow those temperatures to rebound in the afternoon.
